When Carol and I first came to Owasso in June of 1998, we had no
idea what was ahead of us. We knew in our hearts that Father wanted
to establish something new and different here.
We wanted the sort of church that was neither denominationally
formal nor excessively free. We wanted to balance strong fundamental
teaching with expressive charismatic joy. We wanted to pastor people
who were biblically literate, scripturally sound and sturdy,
and overflowingly fruitful.
We got what we expected and hoped for-and a whole lot more!
Today we pastor an exciting fellowship of dynamic people-dynamic
because if the strides we've made in becoming like the Lord we love
in areas of faith, warmth, and vitality. We're a people who realize
that living with God has to be exciting, that living like God had
to be life changing, and that living for Him has to be rewarding.
In our short history we've accomplished a lot, but we realize
it's just a foretaste of our futures. Let me invite you to join
us as we face a future as bright as the glory of the God we serve.
